Coral Poser is a Registered Massage Therapist who offers myofascial release techniques to assess/treat body-mind imbalances. She is also an Osho Rebalancer (TM). Both modalities can be customized as per individual needs. People using her services are often athletes-in-training, people seeking stress management care and pregnant women.Coral settled in Sooke, BC in 2001 and set about creating her business, RICO MASSAGE. She is involved in Vipassana meditation groups in Sooke and in Victoria. Her two other self-healing practices are yoga (35 years) and visual art (life-long).Coral was born in Montreal, Quebec and speaks English and French. In 1979 she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from UBC and graduated with the Outstanding Student of her Class Award. In 1982 she earned her BC Teaching Certificate in the PDP(Professional Development Program) at SFU. In 1993 Coral attained her Massage Therapy Diploma from WCCMT in Vancouver. 1998 saw Coral doing Field Research in USA and Mexico. She interviewed the public about their beliefs as to how they really heal. In 2003 Coral travelled to Costa Rico for a three month residential training in Osho Rebalancing (TM). This bodywork releases connective tissue holding patterns via deep tissue massage, rocking and joint release.Coral’s intention as a massage therapist is to invite her clients into a more joyful experience of embodiment by stilling the mind..
