LiveFree with Karli is a movement of Holistic Healing & Sacred Gathering in alignment with Nature. My mission is to inspire and to create opportunities for self-discovery. To embrace all parts of the Self by calling in a relationship with our mind, body & spirit. And to align the natural rhythms in our bodies with the world around us for healing and exploration both on and off the mat.Freedom happens in the letting go.We all want to feel free.free to be, free to do, and free to live.We think we need more to achieve this freedom.More time, more money, more resources. But the funny thing about freedom, is that you’re already there.if you want to become free to live. you simply live to be free. You just have to let it all go and then there you are.Karli is the the founder of LiveFree with Karli and Medicine Nest, both of which have grown organically and blossomed into fruition through a series of magical unfoldings. What started as a curiosity for the human experience soon led Karli down a spiritual path of self-discovery and conscious living that captured her mind, body, heart & soul. She began to live a life of ritual and prayer, allowing herself to become an offering to life and those around her.It was through a global study of yoga, psychology, meditation, energy work, and the guidance of many great teachers that Karli came to a deeper understanding of life. From western depth psychology & shadow work to traditional and tantric yoga, shamanistic ritual & zen philosophies, her passion for navigating the spiritual and earthly realms of existence extends far and wide. She is an intuitive and holistic healer, who speaks through grounding earth-based modalities that help you reclaim the true healing wisdom that lies within yourself. From a sacred place within her heart, Karli invites individuals to better understand themselves, to heal themselves, and to free themselves from anything inhibiting their truest potential.I get my inspiration from Nature. The way the sun shines through the trees or the way it sparkles in the ocean water. The way incense smoke dances through the air and the way the moon lives in the evening sky. I want to remind people of the simple beauty in Nature. How this Nature outside, also exists within them.B.A. Psychology, C. Community Mental Health, Canada 2014Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga, Canada 2012Yoga for Stress Management, Canada 2013200 Hr. Welcome! My name is Silvia, and I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. I have  been a practitioner of natural health and healing for as long as I can remember. Much of my determination for better health comes from a period in my early life where i struggled with health and emotional issues.  In my journey to wellness, I learned much about myself and what fuels un-wellness in so many of us. Subsequently, I found I wanted to help others in their health struggles,  by educating them and supporting them as much as I was able.  From that time on, natural nutrition and health has become a passion of mine.  Mainly self-taught, many years ago I made the decision to acquire accreditation , so that I could have the ability to teach others more authentically. I specialize in mental health and digestive wellness, and in educating you to understand the connection between the two in getting to your root cause. I also offer assistance with various other health concerns including weight management and blood sugar imbalances. In addition to  my nutrition training, I am certified as an Energy Practitioner and  Therapeutic Touch Practitioner. .I personally  incorporate and study different wellness modalities in my daily life, such as herbal Medicine,  meditation, and Yoga.   I love spending time in nature, especially  going on long hikes or early morning runs.  I love reading and researching all aspects of nutrition and wellness, with a good fiction book thrown in there at times for some balance! I currently live in Saltspring Island, BC, but am available for long-distance mentorship if needed.  My goal is to help you take charge of your health and wellness, and for me, that means, helping  you to be self-empowered , not feel like a victim. I honestly believe your body has the ability to re-balance itself, but it is up to us to give it the proper tools to do so. I hope to assist you on your journey to wellness. Best wishes,Silvia**I work with all kinds of diets and preferences; individualized programs are based on your needs

SERVICESAcupunctureAndrea McKee, R.Ac works with you to help find the root of the problem by tongue and pulse diagnosis and looking at the individual as a whole. Andrea’s knowledge developed through Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine will help restore balance and heal naturally. Healing using acupuncture points can be stimulated to regulate the circulation of qi, which influences the health of the entire being.Acupuncture points can also be stimulated with different methods including:Acupuncture, the deepest level of stimulation;Acupressure, stimulation with the hands;Qigong, stimulation with no touch;Herbology, to balance the chemistry of the body’s systems, naturallyAcupuncture can help with: stress and anxiety, insomnia, fertility, menstrual irregularities,  weight loss, pre-menopause, menopause, fibroids, endometriosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, constipation, diarrhea, gas and bloating. As well as, acne, candida, psoriasis, eczema, allergies, colds, asthma, sinus conditions, addictions, fatigue, depression, and much more.60 minutes, $85Acupressure MassageAcupressure seeks to remedy illness through the application of deep finger pressure at points located along an ‘invisible’ system of energy channels called meridians. Acupressure massage can be used over general areas of the body to promote the flow of qi and blood through the stagnation in the meridian system. A wonderful treatment for those looking to detoxify and feel lighter, harmonized and more balanced.60 minutes, $80Auricular TherapyA type of acupuncture applied only to the ears. Ear acupuncture therapy is to treat diseases by stimulating certain points of the ear with needles. It is held in Traditional Chinese Medicine, that the ear is a microcosm connected with channels and collaterals and zang-fu organs, and is a part of the body as an organic whole.30 – 45 minutes, $45Hot StoneIf you are in need of something to help you relax, relieve muscle tension or to help forget about the rough day, then hot stone massage is right for you. The therapeutic benefits of hot stone massage have been around for centuries, ancient cultures have used this technique to improve overall mental, spiritual and physical wellness. It also helps to rejuvenate, relax, detoxify, harmonize and restore balance in the body’s system. Andrea works with movement of basalt stones over the entire body to help your body and mind relax at the deepest level. Some ailments that Andrea works on treating are, muscular aches and pains, MS, arthritis, fibromyalgia, stress, anxiety, circulatory problems, insomnia, depression and facial rejuvenation. Through treatments working with post natal care, is one that is highly beneficial to the new mother.90 minutes, $125ReflexologyWhen we are stressed our body’s defences break down and we become more susceptible to illness and disease. Reflexology reduces stress by generating deep tranquil relaxation, helping the body balance itself and allowing healing energy to flow. By stimulating more than 7000 nerves in the feet, reflexology encourages the opening and clearing of neural pathways. It interrupts pain pathways, reducing pain. Patients will notice improved circulation, improved immune system, and increased energy.30 – 60 minutes, $45 – $75Fire cuppingBy creating suction, fire cupping removes blockages in the flow of fluid in the body’s connective tissues to free themselves up. The sensation that you experience is similar to certain types of professional massages, instead of pushing, the fire cupping creates a pulling sensation. You will literally be able to feel tension in your body, particularly in your back muscles, beginning to free up. Very relaxing and promotes the smooth flow of blood and qi to internal organs as well as a great way to detoxify and release pain. Great treatment for pulled hamstrings, neck and shoulder tension and general back pain.GuashaGua is to scrap or rub and sha is the blood stasis in the subcutaneous tissue before and after it is released, appearing in the form of reddish, elevated skin ‘rash’. Guash is a Traditional Chinese healing art that dates back to over two thousand years. Guasha also helps to promote qi and blood circulation as well as removes heat, toxins and stagnant blood and lymph fluid from the body to improve one’s health. Great healing art for toxins, stagnation of blood and lymph fluid, fatigue and emotional stress. Red spots that appear on the skin indicate that toxins are being released, if the area is deep purple it indicates blood stagnation, dark green discoloration is a sign that the blood and toxic qi are being released from the system.Medical Qi GongA healing art that naturally reduces stress and calms the shen. No touch therapy. Promotes relaxation and natural healing. If one qi and vital energy are in good balance we are better able to respond to acupuncture treatments and are more likely to feel more at peace and healthy.                                                           About AndreaAndrea is passionate about helping others to live their lives free from health barriers. I didn’t stop.I soon discovered firsthand how important it was to take care of myself and take time to breath. I was more tired than usual and lost a significant amount of weight. Too busy to notice, too busy to care. Until I found a lump. I was given less than a year to live, and my chances of surviving stage 4 cancer were slim to none. I had to stop.I have always had an interest in finding natural ways our bodies can heal, now more than ever I needed to dig deep within and turn this interest into knowledge, this knowledge into power. I underwent my chemo, graciously appreciating Western medicine, but I also felt strongly that my body would survive, despite what I was told. I was then introduced to Eastern medicine through the hospital. When your power is taken away, you do what you can to fight for it back. And I did. I found that, although my body was not meant to survive, it did. My spirit not broken, my mind more intrigued than ever. I started fresh.I quit my job, I enrolled in school and discovered how my interest, was now my passion. I need to do my part and help others prevent from getting sick, keep connected with themselves and heal with preventative care through living a balanced life. My hematologist told me the cancer would return, I am happy to say, I am seven years cancer free. I attribute this to living a balanced, peaceful life filled with natural preventative care.I practice Qi Gong and meditation regularly and take time to live in my moment. I feel happy and I choose to live with peace, love and joy over stress and chaos. .
