Practitioner Bio

Meredith Messett Owner - Born in beautiful small town Rossland, BC, helping others combined with an interest in health and fitness has been a theme throughout Meredith’s adult life. On top of a career in workplace health and safety Meredith has training in coaching, fitness leadership (aquatic aerobics & personal trainer), Yuen Method (energetic corrections) and access consciousness. Meredith is also a registered yoga teacher and Reiki Master and will continue to offer treatments and sessions at the Rest Assured Kootenay Floats.

Daniel Messett Owner - Over the length of his career, Daniel has worked in various industries in provinces and territories across Canada: auto, retail, head instructor for the Southern Interior Construction Association, restaurant/bar owner, provincial award winner for his own housing construction company, federal government manager and safety manager. Daniel has also worked internationally. In fact, Daniel was lead construction manager during the Kobe Japan relief effort that built 140 homes in two months following the devastating 1995 earthquake.

Daniel has visited floatation centres across North America to evaluate the best practices of the most successful float centres and ensure Rest Assured Kootenay Floats offers world class service right here in Castlegar BC.
