About A Place to Heal Counselling Services
I am a clinical social worker providing individual psychotherapy sessions for adults 18+.
I have a strong desire to support clients through life challenges and I enjoy witnessing the changes they can achieve through a positive counselling experience. I use a client-centered approach to guiding clients in addressing and releasing unwanted emotional or behavioural after-effects of life events such as grief/loss, injuries, illness, relationship concerns and other painful life experiences.

Practitioner Bio
I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Social Work. I have been a therapist for over 30 years and during that time I have worked in a variety of settings including children's mental health agencies, school boards, family service agencies, post secondary settings, etc.
I have trained in many different types of therapeutic approaches including but not limited to EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) ImTT (Image Transformation Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Narrative Therapy, Meridian Tapping (EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique) and more.
