Regular Follow up is important. Results take time. The client meets with Andrea for 30 minutes on a regular basis to ensure consistency and improvement. The frequency of follow ups depends on need. These follow up sessions are a critical step in the process. We monitor progress and adjust the program as the body-brain connections become integrated. Every individual is unique. Results and speed of improvements differ from person to person. Time, consistent practice and reevaluation are the keys to success.

The first step is evaluation. Andrea uses the HANDLE® Screening Tool for evaluations. HANDLE is not about labels but about getting to the root causes of challenges. This evaluation takes about 60 minutes. During a HANDLE Screening Andrea observes through their behaviours: • How a person interacts with the Screener and the environment • How tasks are performed during the Screening; not just what they do but how they do it • How a person uses his/her eyes, ears, sense of touch and body in space • How the body-brain connections support functioning Andrea also takes an extensive history and gathers additional information about nutrition, sensitivities, allergies, and intolerances to certain foods, through pre-Screening questionnaires and interviews. Post-Screening recommendations: Andrea reviews the results of the evaluation and develops a program that is customized to meet the needs of each client. Andrea prepares a written Screening Summary with recommendations that include home based activities designed to create readiness for body-brain connections to mature. Daily practice is recommended and usually takes less than 30 minutes. The Presentation of Findings takes place on the second visit, which lasts about 90 minutes. Andrea explains the contents of the Screening Summary, teaches clients their customized program, practices the activities with them and provides written instructions to use at home.
