About Denise Maloney LMT, NCPT
Currently keeping my clients feeling great through the Pilates Method, a system of balanced strengthening from the inside out developed by Joseph Pilates. Pilates method is a progressive way to build on core strength, adding new challenges as basics are mastered. This results in better posture, balance, ease of movement, and over-all toning and muscle development.
Eldoa is a method designed by Guy Voyer, an Osteopath, that gives space in a specific joint through active isometric holds that use positions of the limbs to target a certain pair of vertebrae or joint through the fascial system.
My clients also benefit from my knowledge of Myofascial Release, where we use hands on self-help techniques to improve circulation to specific areas of concern, as well as vagal toning techniques.

Practitioner Bio
As a child, I would do Pilates Mat work with my mother. After getting an associates degree, I decided I wanted to get into the field of wellness, so I completed a 1022 hour massage therapy program and passed my NY board exam in 2001. My passion for Pilates continued, and in 2015, I completed a 488 hour comprehensive Pilates Instructor program through Balanced Body. Still interested in the hands on work, I completed over 300 hours of Fascial Therapy study and certified through Taylor Techniques.
Currently, I am studying Guy Voyer’s Eldoa program, and have completed levels 1, 2, and 3. His work has made made a huge difference in my sessions and has really succeeded in bridging the gap between effective but passive hands on work and active therapeutic movement.
I currently practice both independently and for a physical therapy/Pilates studio in Armonk, NY.
