About TruWellness
Reflexology is the scientific study of the reflexes and the application of expertly applied pressure through massage and acupressure techniques. These techniques work the reflexes in such a way so as to relax the body in order to improve circulation, and nerve impulses and allow the body to return to a state of optimal balance -homeostasis- to heal itself in the process, and learn to better adapt to stress.

Practitioner Bio
Growing up, I was always quite drawn to natural, more holistic ways of healing, with a big passion for helping people. When I ended up working in retail selling shoes as a teenager, feet really started coming to my attention. Every customer had their own unique needs and wants when it came to their footwear. Unfortunately, the wants often took precedence, resulting in a lot of very stylish yet achy, sore and neglected feet.
After some research, I discovered Reflexology, and the more I read about it, the more I fell in love with all of the amazing health and wellness benefits of Reflexology. In January 2012 I completed the Reflexology Certificate course in Kelowna, BC. Not long after, I moved to Abbotsford, BC where I opened up my own clinic. Fast forward a year- in January 2013- I went back to complete the Hand Reflexology Certification course as well, enabling me to not only offer Reflexology treatments on the feet but also on the hands!
A couple of years later, I was introduced to Aromatherapy. While I’d used essential oils in the past, and knew a little bit about the science, it created a desire to look more into the study of Aromatherapy. Needless to say, the more I learned, the more I wanted to know everything I possibly could about essential oils! Since graduating from the Certified Aromatherapist course in May of 2014, I started offering Aromatherapy hand and foot massage to my clients, and started creating my own line of Aromatherapy wellness products.
Since then, I’ve created over 40 different products that I carry at the clinic, as well as countless custom blends for clients, and best of all I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way, with whom I could share my love of essential oils.
