Practitioner Bio
Pacific Osteopathy is owned and operated by Jenny Trost, who has worked in complementary health care for 25 years. Originally, she practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM). In her final year of acupuncture school, she was introduced to craniosacral therapy. Jenny’s interest in craniosacral therapy eventually led her to pursue osteopathic training.Passionate about treating the nervous system, Jenny has completed post-graduate courses in osteopathic treatment of the nervous system, including neuroscience, peripheral nerves and endocranial spasms. Jenny has also trained as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Somatic Experiencing is trauma-resolution work, enhancing regulation of the autonomic nervous system. The principles of SE inform her practice.
